I love theme weddings! The theme for Sherri and Jason’s wedding was spheres and it was a blast to create.

To start, Sherri wanted a sphere for her bridal bouquet instead of a traditional hand-held arrangement. Her colors were bright orange, hot pink and red.

Her girls were straight out of the 1960’s, perfect for the setting at the oh-so-trendy and cool Valley Ho Resort. I used Gerber Daisies and painted Billy Balls for her girls bouquets, each one carrying flowers that matched their dress.

The ceremony was set in the round to continue Sherri’s theme.

Enjoy these fun photos brought to you by EME Photography.

Thanks for checking in with me for another Real Wedding by White Poppy.
Warm regards,
Jeanne

What a pleasure it was working with Carla and Brandon. I have to say, Carla’s sweet laugh was infectious. As I was working around the beautiful grounds of Sassi, I could hear her laughing and it was making my assistant and I smile and laugh so much. This is one of the great perks of my job, to be around such happiness all of the time. I am so grateful.

Please enjoy these beautiful photographs brought to you by Michelle Meyer Photography.

What a sweet ride!

Her girls bouquets were made of peonies, purple hydrangea, freesia, cabbage roses and lisianthus. Carla’s bouquet had the same flowers but in an all white version.

What a sweet little flower girl! Adorned with a custom head wreath and floral basket created by yours truly.

Hand picked luscious table linens by BBJ Linens.

Thanks for checking out another custom creation by White Poppy Floral.
Warm regards,
Jeanne

It was such a joy to work with Andrea on her and Joe’s big day this past spring. I just got these fantastic pictures from an awesome photographer here in Arizona, Harold of To Have and To Hold Photography, what a great job he did capturing the wonderful spirit of that day.

It all took place at The Princess Hotel here in Scottsdale. Their ceremony was overlooking a lagoon and boy was it a romantic atmosphere.

We did a ring of petals in cream and yellow for the bride and groom to stand in. This is becoming quite popular for outdoor weddings here in Arizona; people do not want to do too much to take away from the beautiful surroundings.
These arrangements were made on dark chocolate bamboo sticks and made a beautiful frame for the bride and groom.

The floral recipe that Andrea and I came up with turned out pretty stunning. We chose miniature calla lilies, gardenias (my favorite flower), yellow cymbidium orchids, yellow oncidium orchids, yellow mokara orchids, tulips, freesia and bright white hydrangea. This wedding was a lot of fun to do, thanks Andrea, my staff and I had a great time.

I had the pleasure of working with Andrea and Antonio this past spring. The wedding was held at The Fransiscan Renewal Center and The Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center. Andrea chose a mix of flowers that included rannunculas, roses, gerber daises, freesia, hyacinth and stock. She had almost all the colors of the rainbow except red. Andrea also had the oh so trendy colored shoes. Enjoy taking a peak………….

Thank you to the fabulous One Fine Day Photography for these great photos.
Here are a couple of shots I took in myself of this wedding.
The place card table was so cute.

A wand for the flower girl.
We did the centerpieces in galvanized buckets.
The sweetheart table was so “sweet”.
Thanks for stopping by,
Warm regards,

I just got back from doing 3 weddings with my ever so talented sister and florist extrodinare Candy of Petals Mission Viejo. I flew in on Wednesday, drove to her studio and hit the ground running. I was surrounded by over 2,000 roses in cream, peach, red and hot pink. We also used hydrangea, lilies, a flower called meet me at the garden gate and lots and lots of geranium foliage. The weddings were at The Ritz Carlton Laguna, Tivoli Terrace (where the famous Pageant of the Masters is held) and at a private residence on the beach. Please excuse my home-grown photos, I don’t claim to be a good photographer.
My sis and I.
Working hard.

The lobby flowers were so amazing.

Candy and our happy bride.
The unbelievable view from The Ritz.
This was a pretty centerpiece to make, I think it turned out beautiful if I might say so myself.

Kissing ball, so cute for flower girls.

The adorable bridesmaids.
Another gorgeous bride.
Thank you to my wonderful sister Candy, she has been a mentor to me for years and I am so thankful.
Thanks for stopping by……

I had the pleasure of working with Alyson this past spring season and what a sweetheart she was. The wedding took place at The McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale and what a beautiful day it was.
Her primary color was pink with accents of cream and green. We decided to do something different for her centerpieces and add limes underwater- how adorable! Enjoy the fantastic pictures taken by Jennifer at O Grace Photography, what a talent she and her photographers are.

It was such a pleasure doing Andie and Marcus’s wedding this April at The Valley Ho resort in Phoenix. We spent a lot of time together talking about achieving just the right shade of pink and we did it. The pictures from Marcus Photography turned out beautiful, thank you to Marcus for these great photos.

In Andie’s bridal bouquet we used hot pink and medium pink hydrangea, pink miniature calla lilies, Aqua and Tenga Venga roses from Eufloria and rhinestone studded stephanotis. Don’t they look so happy?

Did we match the bridesmaids dresses or what?
For the bridesmaids we used a combination of pure white flat leaf hydrangea and those same stunning roses from Eufloria that I used in Andie’s bouquet.

What a great shot of the whole bridal party.

Here is a shot of me at work on the bridal bouquet.

And an in-studio shot of the centerpiece.

All of the centerpieces lined up like good little soldiers.
Thanks Andie and Marcus for letting me a part of your special day.
Warm regards,
