I love theme weddings! The theme for Sherri and Jason’s wedding was spheres and it was a blast to create.

To start, Sherri wanted a sphere for her bridal bouquet instead of a traditional hand-held arrangement. Her colors were bright orange, hot pink and red.

Her girls were straight out of the 1960’s, perfect for the setting at the oh-so-trendy and cool Valley Ho Resort.  I used Gerber Daisies and painted Billy Balls for her girls bouquets, each one carrying flowers that matched their dress.

The ceremony was set in the round to continue Sherri’s theme.

Look at these cuties! This was a super fun retro wedding I did at the Valley Ho here in Phoenix.

I have been so busy with wedding season lately that I haven’t had much time to do anything but work. I thought I would post some great pictures of weddings White Poppy has been up to this season. I’ll be doing a Real Weddings post on them when things slow down and I get pictures from each photographer (they do a much better job than I do).

This gorgeous bride got married at the Arizona Historical Society. Her bouquet was made of roses, cymbidium orchids and miniature calla lilies.

Off to go get ready for a “green” baby shower this weekend with lots of herbs and unusual flowers.

Welcome to Trendy Monday, today I am talking about the trend of using floral spheres in wedding floral decor.

I love the idea of using spheres in floral design! I think the look is so clean, modern and simple- like polka dots. Iv’e hung spheres from arbors, made sphere topiarys for centerpieces, created sphere topiary altar arrangements, made sphere kissing balls for flower girls, hung floral spheres from shepherd hooks down a ceremony isle and I’m about to make a kissing ball sphere on a stick for a flower girl (wedding coming up in two weeks). Here are some great examples of floral spheres, enjoy.

I love this rose ball for pew arrangements.

This is a great way to decorate an arbor for weddings.

Love the little girls and their kissing balls.

This is a fun idea for a centerpiece.
